The brand that champions everything bold, was launching their hottest flavour yet. So we came up with the hottest (and boldest) idea imaginable - take Doritos Inferno, into a real life inferno. We filmed the world's first-ever 360 video from inside an active volcano, and made a documentary of the chip’s journey through acid rain, earthquakes, 1200 degree heat, and spontaneously spewing lava. Nbd.
The video erupted with over 5 million views in month one and the campaign received 58 million impressions, increasing sales by 24%.
