Consumers had an attachment to the Mr. Clean character that wasn’t being reciprocated in mainstream communication. So we came up with a complete overhaul of the brand, putting the character front and centre as an icon of clean who dedicated his life to helping people get the job done faster and easier. We developed Mr. Clean's personality, building his presence as an “influencer” on social and through a national OOH campaign.
